Our Area
Worthing is just 14km west of Brighton and the largest town in West Sussex. Its architecture reflects its history with lots of Victorian buildings from the 1890's. The seafront boasts a 9 km promenade and pier. Worthing's shopping area is full of atmosphere with pedestrian streets, pavement cafes and world class restaurants.
Lancing is a small peaceful seaside town, near Worthing, with London just 1 hour away by train. Lancing has a few small shops, cafes and restaurants, as well as a great beach.
Sussex is also home to many other fantastic towns and villages . A beautiful part of England to use as a base for many visits. London, Windsor, Portsmouth, Winchester, Hastings and Canterbury are all within easy distance for a day trip.
HOST FAMILIES
Our local Host-Families are personally selected and inspected by us.
We strongly believe that the family stay is key to the happiness of our students, so our host-families are a really important part of our team at English in England. Many have worked with us for over 10 years.
We work closely together to ensure that all students feel welcome, are able to practise their English and experience an authentic taste of life here, making great memories.
In other UK centres, we work with trusted local organisers to make sure that homestay accommodation meets our high standards, and our students are safe and happy with their hosts.

We are a family business, and over 40 years have continued to expand our capacity for European student groups of all ages and nationalities wanting to improve their English in a safe but fun environment.
In our own 2 centres, Worthing and Lancing, we offer a highly organised, professional service where our fantastic, friendly staff will look after you. We pride ourselves on the quality of our host-families. Our English teachers are also the friendliest team who really motivate their students.
Our success has been based on our consistent high standards of organisation, as well as selecting great host-families and teachers to make unforgettable stays.
